POOL SAFETY

Although swimming remains one of the healthiest and safest forms of recreation today, the need for awareness about pool safety cannot be overstressed. When people (especially children) come to a pool, a full explanation of pool rules should be given before any activity around the pool begins. This not only helps prevent accidents from occurring, but it helps you win the respect of your guests. Swimming in your California Pool should be regarded as a privilege. Be sure to point out any slippery areas around the pool, as well as all of the underwater steps and ledges.

  • What does your full service include?

    • ​Full service includes netting, brushing, vacuuming, scrubbing tile, and emptying all the baskets and cleaner bags. It also includes a visual equipment inspection and complete water testing and chemical balancing. Filter cleaning is included.

 

  • What does your chemical service include?

    • ​The chemical service includes emptying the baskets and cleaner bags, a visual equipment inspection, and checking and balancing the chemicals in your pool.
       

  • What areas do you service?

    • ​We service Redlands, Yucaipa, Highland, San Bernardino, Moreno Valley, Loma Linda, Reche Canyon, Mentone, Calimesa, Grand Terrace and surrounding areas.
       

  • How do saltwater systems work?

    • The Salt Chlorine Generator breaks down the sodium chloride (salt) molecules, producing pure chlorine on a daily basis and avoiding the high and low chlorine levels.

  • How can I save electricity?

  • There’s black stuff growing in my pool. What is it and what do I do?

    • ​Sounds like black algae, which can be extremely difficult to control and get rid of, too! A chlorine wash is highly recommended. Give us a call!
       

  • How often do I need to clean the pool filter? 

    • ​The manufacturer recommends cleaning the filter  when the PSI increases 10 pounds over clean pressure. However, this also depends on usage, the size of the filter and maintenance regularity. 

       

  • How often is pool maintenance necessary? 

    • ​We offer weekly pool service to avoid staining and equipment issues that may otherwise go unnoticed.

       

  • Do I have to put chlorine in my pool? How often? How much? What kind?

  • Is it okay to drain my pool while we are in a drought?
